MVA seat-sharing talks have started; CM to be declared after results: Congress
Congress on Saturday stated that the chief minister of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance will be declared after the Maharashtra assembly elections even though the allies have already started their seat-sharing talks. BJP leaders claimed earlier this week that Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray visited Delhi and met top Congress leaders only to ensure that he would be the chief ministerial candidate of the MVA. Congress, Sena (UBT) and NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) are the chief constituents of the opposition alliance, pitted against the ruling 'Mahayuti' coalition of the BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP. Congress in-charge of Maharashtra Ramesh Chennithala said the MVA will contest the coming state elections unitedly.

A third business owner said he recently shipped a big batch of servers with more than 2,000 of the most advanced chips made by Nvidia, the U.S. tech company, from Hong Kong to mainland China. As evidence, he showed photos and a message with his supplier arranging the April delivery for $103 million.

Pakistan, while Caveman was moving across various states in India. This cross-border connection raised suspicions. Further investigation revealed two additional accounts exhibiting similar patterns: one under the name «Qasem Solemani» and another with an Urdu name followed by «123.» By tracking these digital trails and coordinating with human intelligence, Indian law enforcement officials successfully apprehended Rizwan Ali, a highly skilled «improvised explosive device (IED) expert» who had managed to evade authorities for over a year. Philippine military says Chinese air force jets endangered its patrol plane with flares, risky moves
Philippine military chief condemned Saturday what he said was the provocative actions of two Chinese air force aircraft that executed a dangerous manoeuver and dropped flares in the path of a Philippine air force plane on routine patrol in the South China Sea. All those aboard the Philippine air force NC-212i light transport plane were unharmed and returned safely to Clark Air Base north of Manila after Thursday morning's incident over the Scarborough Shoal, Gen Romeo Brawner said, without providing other details. A top Philippine security official told The Associated Press that the Chinese jets flew at a «very close distance» to the Philippine air force turbo-prop plane and «put the lives of our pilots in real risk and danger». Another security officer said at least eight flares came from the Chinese fighter jets. Both spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the incident.

Seasonal infections take a toll on health insurance claims
health insurance claims in Mumbai are due to seasonal infectious diseases, according to insurers. These ailments include vector-borne diseases like dengue and malaria, which see a spike in claims during July and August, and water-borne infections such as gastroenteritis, reported TOI. In winter, common claims arise from conditions like bronchitis and influenza. Many of these claims are linked to local hygiene conditions and could be largely avoidable. Health insurance claims data analyzed by Policybazaar reveals that mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue and malaria constitute 15% of all seasonal illness claims. The typical treatment costs for these diseases range from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1,50,000. The claims for these ailments notably increase in July and August due to the humid conditions conducive to mosquito breeding. Monsoon season also sees a rise in gastroenteritis, accounting for 18% of seasonal claims. The treatment costs for gastroenteritis are similar to those for malaria. Additionally, allergic reactions, which vary by region, contribute to another 10% of seasonal illness claims.
