Au Small Finance Bank Ltd. traded at Rs 737.55 on BSE at 10:15AM (IST) on Wednesday, up 1.2 per cent from previous close. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 548.15 and a high of Rs 794.95. Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning. A total of 7,385 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 10:15AM (IST). The stock of Au Small Finance Bank Ltd.

Nifty50 was trading at 20,004, down 130 points or 0.64% at around 9.16 a.m. From the Sensex pack, HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, Bharti Airtel, and Infosys opened with losses, while ICICI Bank, Power Grid, L&T, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank opened with gains. HDFC Bank opened nearly 3% lower after the bank on Monday said its gross non-performing assets will likely increase as of July 1, after its merger with HDFC. Shares of Bharat Dynamics opened 3% higher after the company signed a contract worth Rs 291 crore with IAF. Sector-wise, Nifty Financial Services declined 0.87% and Nifty Bank fell 0.68%.

HDFC Bank share price declined over 3 per cent in early trade on BSE on Wednesday after brokerage firms expressed their mixed views on the stock post the bank's analyst and institutional investor meeting on Monday (September 18). The stock opened at ₹1,599 against the previous close of ₹1,629.05 and soon fell 3.31 per cent to the level of ₹1,575.15. HDFC Bank share price has strongly underperformed the benchmark Sensex in the last one year.
