In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 3.09 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.80 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.52 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 2.33 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.30 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.43 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.97 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent) and Dr.
Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.57 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
