The NSE Nifty index traded 31.4 points down at 19642.85, while BSE Sensex was down 98.65 points at 65910.5 as of 10:39AM(IST)on September 25.
In the Nifty index, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(up 4.02 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(up 2.08 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.31 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.16 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent), Infosys Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent) and Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent) were among the top losers.
