In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 5.53 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 3.59 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 2.94 per cent), Dr.
Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.91 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.73 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.48 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.05 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.54 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.50 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
