In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 1.43 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.43 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(up 1.36 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.33 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Nestle India Ltd.(down 2.16 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.77 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 0.73 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
