L&T Tech posted a consolidated net profit of ₹311.1 crore in the first quarter of FY24, which was 8.5% lower than ₹340 crore in the previous quarter. The company’s revenue during Q1FY24 declined 2.9% to ₹2,301 crore from ₹2,370.6 crore, QoQ. In dollar terms, its revenue fell to $280 million from $288.4 million in the last quarter.

Reliance Industries (RIL) shares witnessed minor gains on Wednesday ahead of demerger of Jio Financial Services. Reliance shares opened at ₹2,832 apiece on BSE. At 9:51 IST, RIL shares were up 0.64% at ₹2,842.

IndusInd Bank: The private lender's net profit rose by 32.5% year-on-year to 21.24 billion rupees. Reliance Industries (RIL) on Thursday (July 20). RIL on July 8 announced in a BSE filing that the National Company Law Tribunal approved the planned demerger of Jio Financial Services. It announced the record date of July 20, 2023, for the same.

The CBIC on Monday issued a clarification with regard to availment of input tax credit (ITC) on services provided by the head office (HO) to its branch office (BO), a move which will benefit multilocational businesses operating in sectors like manufacturing, IT services and transportation.In respect of the supply of internally generated services by HO to BOs, where full input tax credit (ITC) is available to a BO, the value declared on the invoice by HO to the said BO may be declared as ‘Nil’, and thereby there would be no need for any tax compliance in such cases.

Reliance Industries (RIL) has demerged its financial services arm - Reliance Strategic Investments, which will be renamed and listed as Jio Financial Services on July 20. The demerged entity will also be included in the Nifty 100, Nifty 200, and Nifty 500 indices, as well as other sectoral indices, the National Stock Exchange said on July 17.
