Adam Johnson's death in England has shocked everyone and now a man has been apprehended by the police in connection with the incident. The individual in custody faces charges of suspicion of manslaughter. However, the identity has not yet been disclosed. The arrest follows an investigation by South Yorkshire Police into the circumstances surrounding 29-year-old Johnson's death on October 31, characterized as a «freak accident» by the Nottingham Panthers. Following the incident, Johnson was rushed to the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield by ambulance, where he was declared dead, as stated in the Sheffield coroner’s report. In response, the English Ice Hockey Association has mandated the use of neck guards for all players during on-ice activities, starting from December 31.
