Hugh Howey novel of the same name, Beacon 23 is a science-fiction series that narrates the story of a man living in a remote space 'lighthouse' that serves as a beacon for passing ships. Though Beacon 23 is a short book of only 256 pages, it provided ample content for season 1. However, it is not enough to ensure that Beacon 23 season 2 does not stray from the original story. This creative liberty opened doors for its second season. Beacon 23 Season 1 got mixed reviews, it received a 60% critical approval on Rotten Tomatoes and a 56% audience score. It is clear that the audiences did not like it much, so it has expanded in Season 2, which could expect the series to improve itself.
