The triple shooting happened at night on Thursday, July 20, 2023, and claimed the life of YNG Cheese. According to the police, the shooting took place at 8:24 pm local time on the 5800 block of Mascher Street in Philadelphia. The police have not confirmed the identity of the deceased, but a source close to YNG Cheese’s family confirmed to NBC10 that it was the young man who died. The cops described the deceased as a 25-year-old man who was shot in the back once. He was taken to hospital by the police but was pronounced dead at 8:39 pm. Gillie Da Kid is a rapper and a popular podcast host of the show ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game’, which he hosts alongside influencer Wallo267. He is also an actor in movies like Blood Brotha, Chase Street, Philly Uncut, and Force of Execution. YNG Cheese took to his father’s profession. As a rapper himself, Cheese had over 63,000 followers on Instagram. He posted his music and about his little son on his social media page. His last Instagram post was on June 30, where he shared a video about his bad experience at a fast food joint. YNG Cheese also had a YouTube channel, on which he posted music videos to songs like Let’s Play Ball, Last Time, What U Want, and The One, among others.
