Tata Motors share price gained over a percent on Tuesday, extending its rally for the fourth straight session, to hover around its all-time high level hit in the previous session. Tata Motors also became the 16th most valued automaker in the world overtaking Kia Corporation in terms of market capitalization. Its m-cap surged to more than ₹2.07 lakh crore during the day.

Tata Motors can rally another 13%, with the stock expected to scale target of Rs 700, riding on strong growth drivers. Motilal Oswal has recommended a 'Buy' rating on Tata Motors, estimating a healthy recovery as supply-side issues ease and commodity headwinds stabilise for its India business. India's largest EV play is expected to benefit from the commercial vehicle (CV) upcycle and stable growth in its passenger vehicles segment, Motilal Oswal said in a note.

Clensta International has raised Rs 75 crore in its pre-Series funding, led by TradeCred and the Royal Family of the UAE, a top company executive told ET. The executive added that the Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank), Mumbai Angels, Keiretsu, LetsVenture and O2 VC Fund were among the investors who took part in the funding round. New Delhi: Foxconn Technology Group has pulled out of its joint venture with Vedanta Ltd that had planned to invest $20 billion in India for setting up a semiconductor fabrication unit, display unit and semiconductor assembly and testing unit.   The 60:40 partnership could have set up the country’s first semiconductor manufacturing unit under the $10 billion government-backed financial incentive scheme, and was once estimated to be ahead of two other consortia in the fray for getting the sops.   The government however downplayed the development saying that the differences between the two companies did not impact India’s plans to become a semiconductor manufacturing destination.   “Both the companies are fully committed to developing India’s semiconductor industry and they’re fully committed to Make in India," minister of electronics and information technology Ashwini Vaishnaw told Mint, noting that the announcements will not have an impact on India’s semiconductor mission.  Rajeev Chandrasekhar, minister of state for electronics and information technology said in a Twitter post following the announcements that it was well known that both companies had no prior experience or technology and were expected to source fab technology from a technology partner.  "While their JV VFSL had originally submitted a proposal for 28nm fab, they could not source appropriate tech partner for that proposal.

Vedanta said the Taiwanese electronic contract manufacturer Foxconn has withdrawn from a $19.5 billion semiconductor joint venture without elaborating on the reasons. Terming the Foxconn withdrawal as a ‘tragedy’ the Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray said the project was completely feasible in Maharashtra and asked the Maharashtra government to clarify why it was suddenly shifted to Gujarat from a highly feasible location of Pune.

The New York Times said it is dismantling its sports desk and will rely on the Athletic for its daily sports coverage, part of an effort to further integrate the publication it bought for $550 million last year. Tata Communications International Pte Ltd., a wholly owned unit of Tata Communications, has signed a share purchase agreement to buy the remaining nearly 42% stake of Oasis Smart Sim Europe SAS for Rs 99.3 crore ($ 12 million). Tata Communications had acquired a majority stake (58.1%) in Oasis Smart Sim Europe SAS in 2020. “The transaction enables TCIPL to gain complete 100% equity shareholding in Oasis Smart SIM Europe enabling Tata Communications to accelerate and augment Tata Communications MOVE platform roadmap for global markets,” the company said in a stock exchange notice Monday.
