Russia may be working on an 'unprecedented weapon' that could trigger a World War 3
The officials told New York Times that the satellite, currently in a high-radiation graveyard orbit, may be carrying a dummy warhead and testing components for a device that could destroy numerous satellites. Cosmos 2553 was launched 19 days before President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. The satellite orbits Earth every two hours in an area rarely used due to high radiation. Russia's ministry of defense said that the spacecraft was «equipped with newly developed onboard instruments and systems for testing them under conditions of exposure to radiation and heavy charged particles.»

US FDA cited animal lab at Musk's Neuralink for 'objectionable conditions'
Neuralink brain technology company was found to have «objectionable conditions or practices» by the Food and Drug Administration, which cited the company and urged it to address the problems. FDA inspectors identified the issues at Neuralink's animal testing facilities in California in June 2023, several weeks after the agency had given the company the green light for a small study of its brain implant in humans, according to the letter to Congress dated November 29. The agency was responding to concerns raised by Earl Blumenauer, a House Democrat from Oregon who has focused on animal welfare.

Ind vs Aus: Rohit Sharma's batting position in focus as India aim to prove a point in 2nd Test
Rohit Sharma might take a step back to lead from the front as India look for the perfect combination to drive home the advantage against a wounded but famously resilient Australia in the day-night Test starting here on Friday. The biggest predicament is the batting order, which will need to be shaken up a bit to accommodate Rohit, returning to the side from a brief paternity break, and a fit-again Shubman Gill. But the resourceful side would be happy to have that headache than being under-strength, which was the case when they last toured and beat all expectations to come out trumps. Playing Australia in Australia tends to bring the best out of the visiting Indian team which defied all expectations to boss the series-opener in Perth, handing Australia their first loss at the Optus stadium.
