Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray on Friday sought transparency in the recently conducted Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) engineering exams in the state, and demanded that the marks of the students be disclosed and answer sheets be given to them. Addressing a press conference here, he said the CET was held in a «weird» way and examinations for two papers were held in 30 batches. Of this, one paper was held in 24 batches.

Delhi Congress workers on Friday held a demonstration near the BJP headquarters here over the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 examinations. The demonstration was led by Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav. The medical entrance examination, National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET-UG, was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 5 with around 24 lakh candidates taking part. The results were announced on June 4.

Secondly, in the PSU basket itself, OMCs have done well again in the last six months but here onwards, stocks like HP, BP, IOC can still compound another 20% from here. So, PSU banks and OMCs are one trades where risk versus reward could be quite favourable. Banks are coming back in favour and we can see that the FII participation as well is picking up. In fact, yesterday it was the FIIs which overtook DIIs. Is this going to be an elongated patch of FII money flowing in and thereby banks doing well? Rahul Shah: We have seen continuous selloff by FIIs for quite some time and their participation versus the retail versus the DIIs has been fantastic and the markets have given robust returns. Whenever they return, there are two-three sectors which are their favourites and one of them is financials. I think that in the last four-five days we are seeing that action in the entire financial space.

The only bank from the private sector space that I have in my portfolio is Federal Bank and that is because I am positive on smaller private sector banks like IDFC First and Federal Bank.
