UPS Aware security WhatsApp wellness rights Hotel Leela Venture challenges ITC's shareholder oppression claims
Hotel Leela Venture Limited (HLV) has challenged ITC's claims of shareholder oppression against it in a fresh twist to a five-year-old legal tussle at the centre of which is the 2019 sale of key Leela properties to Canada's investment giant Brookfield for ₹4,250 crore, according to sources aware of the developments. ITC is opposing that sale transaction claiming it was to the detriment of minority shareholders. The cigarettes-to-FMCG conglomerate owns a stake in HLV Limited. National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) allowed ITC's petition claiming shareholder oppression and mismanagement at HLV Limited on January 24 this year, though the company doesn't have the requisite shareholding of 10% required to file such lawsuits as per rules laid down in India's Companies Act.

UPS Fighting Election community wellness Lok Sabha polls: Friends-turned-foes make Churu battle quite personal
Churu Lok Sabha election has the makings of a potboiler — friends-turned-foes, caste one-upmanship and political ambition fuelling a family rivalry. The constituency, a BJP stronghold which the party has not lost since 1999, is represented by Rahul Kaswan. The two-term MP was denied the ticket by his party and has now been fielded by Congress. BJP has fielded paralympic javelin thrower Devendra Jhajharia. Interestingly, however, it is not Jhajharia who seems to be in contest here but the former leader of Opposition and BJP's seven-term MLA Rajendra Singh Rathore. Despite the best efforts of the Rajput strongman, it has become a Kaswan versus Rathore face-off. ET caught up with Kaswan in Hamusar village near Churu as he campaigned and exhorted the electors to punish his former party for its arrogance. «What is this? Arrogance only when they say 'Ab ki baar, chaar sau paar' (this time 400-plus seats) — who should decide this? The voters, not them,» he said.

Sahil Kapoor, Head of Products & Market Strategist, DSP Mutual Fund, says top-line growth is slowing; we already have peak profit margins and drivers of profit margins are absent which can expand profit margins from here and then you question that if earnings growth is going to be 12% to 14%, why would you pay 23 times or in midcap 28 to 40 times earnings multiples? Those expectations will have to be recalibrated and possibly the markets will do that over the next 12 to 24 months.” What is your market outlook in terms of equity markets in India? markets UPS Target wellness trends Trade shooting Aditya Arora is bullish on Thermax and ONGC. Here’s why
Aditya Arora, Adlytick, says: “There was a buy on ONGC today by certain brokerage houses and the dynamics of crude oil and oil space is changing very dynamically given the geopolitical tension. ONGC is a great buy at Rs 280, stop loss must be Rs 265, and target would be Rs 295-320. The second one is Thermax. The capital infrastructure is pretty good and these stocks are also displaying that kind of a strength. The trend of Thermax is pretty positive. One must maintain a bullish outlook on this stock and one should turn bearish only if levels of Rs 4400 are breached.” Jewellery retailer Senco is glittering away in trade. In the jewellery retail pack, what is looking attractive to you on the charts and technicals? Would you go for something like Senco Gold or AVJ Jewellers in terms of recent listing or would you stick to Titan or Kalyan Jewellers? Aditya Arora: Senco Gold looks absolutely good since the listing at about Rs 350 odd levels. The stock has scaled new highs of Rs 960. It is fantastic, the patterns are very good and it is outperforming markets by a very wide margin. Whether you talk about indices like Nifty, Bank Nifty or whether you compare it to other peers like Titan, it is doing pretty well. I think good institutional interest is present as I can see on the charts. So one can go with Senco Gold itself and one can buy at Rs 936.80, stop loss must be Rs 840 and target would be Rs 1000-1100. The the view is overall bullish and it could be accumulated in all dips.
