Vedanta Q2 Results: Mining major swings to black with Rs 5,603 crore profit versus YoY loss
Vedanta Ltd on Friday reported a profit of Rs 5,603 crore for the quarter ended September 2024 as against as loss of Rs 915 crore in the same quarter of last year. Revenue from operations, meanwhile, declined 4% year-on-year to Rs 37,171 crore in the quarter ended September 2024. The same stood at Rs 38,546 crore a year ago.

Sovereign green bonds now eligible under FAR
Reserve Bank of India has made the 10-year sovereign green bonds eligible in the fully accessible route category, which will be opened fully for non-resident investors without any restrictions, apart from being available to domestic investors. This inclusion of green bonds in the FAR category is expected to increase investor appetite for the paper, experts said. The RBI has issued a total of ₹36,000 crore in green bonds since 2022-23.

TeamLease Services Q2 Results: Net profit falls 10% to Rs 24.85 crore
TeamLease Services on Wednesday reported a 10.12 per cent decline in consolidated net profit to Rs 24.85 crore for the quarter ending September 2024. The company's net profit stood at Rs 27.65 crore during the corresponding period of the previous financial year, TeamLease Services said in a regulatory filing. Its revenue from operations rose 23 per cent to Rs 2,796.83 crore in the quarter under review compared to Rs 2,272.60 crore a year ago.
