COST FIVE Williams Ball Celebrity cricket Digvesh Rathi's 'Kersik Williams' like celebration after Priyansh Arya's wicket costs him big in only his third match
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), it got even worst for Digvesh Singh Rathi, an emerging player of the IPL 2025 season, all because of his «Kersik Williams-like» celebration. The bowler, playing only his third IPL game, gave his team an early breakthrough in clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS), who were chasing a total of 172 runs. Rathi dismissed Priyansh Arya in his very first over, giving the perfect start to the hosts. However, his celebration is something that caught the eyes of the crowd and of course, the umpires. He gave a send-off to Arya with a notebook-pen celebration, therefore violating IPL code of conduct. Rathi was fined 25 per cent of his match fee and handed one demerit point for the same. «Digvesh Singh, Bowler, Lucknow Super Giants has been fined 25 per cent of his match fees and has also accumulated One Demerit Point for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during his team’s match against Punjab Kings at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Tuesday,» IPL said in a statement late Tuesday night. As per IPL, Digvesh admitted to the Level 1 offence under Article 2.5 and accepted the Match Referee’s sanction.

Williams Banner students Celebrity Schools Features Colleges Joy at Kalpana Chawla's Karnal school as Sunita Williams safely returns
Tagore Baal Niketan rejoiced alongside millions as Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams returned to Earth after 286 days in space. The school is also renowned for nurturing Kalpana Chawla, the first Indian-origin woman in space. The first Indian to achieve this feat was Rakesh Sharma, who journeyed aboard the Russian spacecraft Soyuz T-11 in 1984. Born in Karnal in 1962, Kalpana Chawla tragically lost her life on February 1, 2003, when the Columbia spacecraft disintegrated over Texas and Louisiana, killing all seven astronauts on board. Chawla completed her schooling at Tagore Baal Niketan and earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, in 1982. She moved to the United States later that year. The school, with a history spanning over six decades, has honored her legacy by dedicating an auditorium in her memory. Its principal, Dr Rajan Lamba said, «Everyone was happy and relieved at the safe return of Sunita William and fellow astronauts… Due to ongoing school Board exams, we could not hold celebrations in the school, but everyone was happy including students, teachers.» He reminisced about the Columbia Space Shuttle, recalling vivid memories and a series of letters exchanged between the school's founder and Chawla before her mission.

Earlier, NASA Crew-9 astronauts breathed earthly air for the first time in over nine months following the successful splashdown of SpaceX's Dragon capsule. The astronauts disembarked the capsule on stretchers, as is customary, CNN reported. This precaution is taken by SpaceX for all astronauts returning from long-duration space missions. Delays caused by issues with Boeing's Starliner spacecraft, which surfaced during a test flight piloted by Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams last summer, led to the astronaut duo remaining in space for nine months instead of a week, CNN reported. NASA's SpaceX Crew-9 completed the agency's ninth commercial crew rotation mission to the International Space Station on Tuesday, splashing down safely in a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft off the coast of Tallahassee, Florida, in the Gulf of America, according to a NASA statement.
