The Fire Department said that taking into consideration the severity of the incident, the closure may last at least 24 hours.

The fire Department said that the crews were assessing the damage and inspecting the structural safety of the freeway.
According to LADF, the Freeway will remain closed for traffic until Caltrans gives a green signal that the highway is safe.
