PVR INOX has launched a subscription service named 'PVR INOX Passport', in which moviegoers can watch up to 10 movies each month for a fixed monthly subscription fee of Rs 699 per month. The new service is available from October 16.
The offer is valid for movie screenings on weekdays from Monday to Thursday.
However, it's important to note that this subscription excludes premium offerings like IMAX, Gold, LUXE, and Director’s Cut.
According to PVR INOX, the 'PVR INOX Passport' can be purchased with a minimum subscription period of three months through the cinema chain's app or website. Redemption of this subscription will require users to select a Passport coupon as a payment option during the checkout process.
It is essential to note that the Passport is non-transferrable and must be used by a single user, who will need to present a government-issued identity proof when checking in at the cinema.
The subscription plan will also be be applicable on movie ticket price below Rs 350. In the event the Patron wishes to book a movie ticket for Rs 350 and above, the Patron would be liable for the payment of the differential amount, the company said on its website.
Apart from movie tickets, the company is also trying to address the concerns about the cost of food and beverages at cinemas.
The leading cinema chain have reduced the prices by 40 percent. In addition, PVR INOX has introduced attractive food combos, available from Monday to Thursday between 9 am and 6 pm.
