Narendra Modi will inaugurate 10 new Vande Bharat trains across various routes in the country, pushing the total number of operational trains past the half-century mark. These new additions come a little over two months since the last batch of trains were launched.
10 New Vande Bharat's Routes
The 10 new trains cover a range of routes, including 1. Lucknow-Dehradun
2. Patna-Lucknow
3. New Jalpaiguri-Patna
4. Puri-Visakhapatnam
5. Kalaburagi–Bengaluru
6. Ranchi-Varanasi
7. Khajuraho-Delhi.
Additionally, the Railway Ministry will introduce the second set of Vande Bharat trains on 8. Ahmedabad-Mumbai
9. Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam
10 Mysuru-Chennai routes.
Vande Bharat Extensions and Enhancements
Furthermore, four existing Vande Bharat routes will see extensions, enhancing connectivity. These extensions include the 1. Ahmedabad-Jamnagar route extended till Dwarka
2. The Ajmer-Delhi train till Chandigarh
3. The Gorakhpur-Lucknow till Prayagraj
4. Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargod route extended till Mangaluru
Vande Bharat trains primarily operate on electrified Broad Gauge networks across states.
