SUV and Sportback, indicating that their launch is just a few weeks away. This new model represents a significant upgrade to the e-tron SUV, featuring not only cosmetic and feature enhancements but also the incorporation of 'Q8' into its name. The refreshed Q8 e-tron was first unveiled on a global scale in November of the previous year.
The Audi Q8 e-tron receives several visual updates, including a fresh dual-tone trapezoidal grille and the introduction of the new 2D Audi logo. The front bumper has been redesigned, and the LED headlamp styling has been revised. While the rear remains largely unchanged, there are updated taillights and bumper. Additionally, the B-pillar now features 'Audi' lettering, adding a premium touch.
The electric SUV also showcases new alloy wheels. These design enhancements have not only improved the overall aesthetics but also contributed to a reduction in the Q8 e-tron's drag coefficient from 0.28 to 0.27 and from 0.26 to 0.24 on the Sportback model. The Audi Q8 e-tron boasts significant improvements in its powertrain and range.
Internationally, the vehicle is available in three options: 50, 55, and the high-performance SQ8. The Q8 e-tron 55 variant now offers an extended range of 582 km on a single charge, a notable increase from the previous version's 484 km. The Sportback model takes it even further with a range of 600 km.
These enhancements are a result of both vehicles being equipped with a larger 95 kWh battery pack, replacing the previous 64 kWh pack. The top-spec SQ8 delivers a range of 513 km and generates a peak torque of 973 Nm. It is expected that Audi India will introduce the 50 and 55 variants to the market, omitting the SQ8. Charging times are estimated to be around 9 hours
