24 Hours With Gaspar' will have its world premiere at the Busan Film Festival, where it has been put in the prestigious Jiseok competition. Before that, the producers unveiled its first trailer. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Indonesian author Sabda Armandio. The movie narrates the story of Gaspar, a private detective with 24 hours to live. He finds clues about the mysterious disappearance of his childhood friend Kirana. The clues lead him to a human trafficking syndicate.
The star cast of this Indonesian film includes Reza Rahadian ('Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash'), Shenina Cinnamon ('Dear David'), Sal Priadi ('Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash'), Dewi Irawan ('Anwar: The Untold Story'), Laura Basuki ('Before Now And Then'), Kristo Imanuell ('Big Four'), and Iswadi Pratama.
KawanKawan Media, Visinema and Legacy Pictures joined hands to make the film. It has been produced by Yulia Evina Bhara for KawanKawan Media and Cristian Imanuell for Visinema Pictures.
Earlier, Noen and KawanKawan joined hands to make 'The Science of Fictions' (2019). This movie was premiered at Locarno and it won a special mention and subsequently played at Busan. Teoh Gay Hian shot the film 'The Science of Fictions' and now he has come back with '24 Hours With Gaspar'.
Talking about the film, Noen said that he has shown a mismanaged and suppressed society in a film saturated with violence. He also said that the film depicts the gritty texture of a decaying city. He added further that the characters are painted in shades beyond the conventional dichotomy of good and evil. He also claimed that '24
