financialexpress.com7th Pay Commission Dearness Allowance hike news (October 18): The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today approved the release of an additional instalment of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief due from 01.07.2023. The decision will benefit 48.67 lakh Central Government Employees and 67.95 lakh pensioners will benefit from this decision.
“Dearness Allowance for Central Government Employees and Dearness Relief for pensioners increased by 4%. The DA hike will be implemented from 1, July 2023,” Union Minister Anurag Thakur said while announcing Cabinet decisions
Earlier on Tuesday, the Central Government declared Non-productivity Linked Bonus (ad-hoc bonus) for eligible employees (check details here)
