Acer -known for its PCs and accessories — on Thursday unveiled its e-bike MUVI 125 4G at the ongoing e-mobility expo in Greater Noida. This is the first electric vehicle to be introduced by the PC maker for the Indian market.
The e-bike has been designed by eBikeGo, a pioneering force in the realm of sustainable urban mobility and innovation in India. Under a license agreement from Acer Incorporated, EBIkeGo will produce electric 2 and 3-wheelers for the acer brand in India.
The agreement establishes a long-term program with exact terms being confidential, the company said in a media release
The company further said that the MUVI-125-4G has been designed for urban commuters who seek elegance, efficiency, and eco-friendliness. MUVI0-125-4G comes with swappable batteries, lightweight yet chassis, 16-inch wheels, data-driven design, and highly customizable features. With a top speed of 75kmph and offering a range of 80km, the e-bike, stands as the epitome of versatile and sustainable transportation.
This innovative electric bike is not just a mode of mobility; it's an embodiment of the future of urban commuting, the release further said.
eBikeGo further said that the firm has planned multiple launches under the Acer brand.
“In the future, we will be introducing multiple 2 and 3-wheeler EVs under the Acer brand, including e-bikes, e-scooters, and e-trikes," it said.
