Gary Busey, aged 79, is facing accusations of involvement in a hit-and-run collision in Malibu, According to a statement by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department provided to USA TODAY. The media reports have also stated that allegedly, Busey was driving a blue Volvo on August 30 in the late afternoon when he collided with another driver. The driver involved in the incident reported that «he refused to stop after the collision occurred and refused to provide proof of registration and financial responsibility,» as stated in the news release.
The incident took place on the 23000 block of Pacific Coast Highway, which is the location of the Malibu Pier.
As of now, representatives for Gary Busey have not officially commented on the situation.
