Michelle Obama was quite active in the political circles when the US election campaign was going on, and she offered her full support to Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris, but that ended up for a losing cause after Trump registered a massive win in the US elections 2024.
And now, it looks like she is continuing to stay away from the political limelight by missing Trump's inauguration ceremony at the US Capitol.
However, Barack Obama will reportedly attend Trump's second Presidential term inauguration, but Michelle is going to skip it, much like President Carter's funeral, where she missed the event due to 'a scheduling conflict'.
However, the last time Trump was sworn-in as the President, it was attended by both Barack and Michelle Obama, along with outgoing Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden.
