During an interview on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM podcast Andy Cohen Live, Patti LuPone, who starred in Agatha All Along, stated that a second season would not be happening. She shared that the show's creator, Jac Schaeffer, had told her directly that there would be no continuation of the series.
LuPone recalled Schaeffer's words when she entered her trailer: «Lilia’s going to die,» referring to the character she played. LuPone asked if the show would have a second season, but Schaeffer explained that she does not typically do sequels. Schaeffer shared that she was asked to do a second season of WandaVision but chose not to. Instead, Schaeffer prefers to write one-off stories and felt that there was too much to cover in a second season.
