Air India announced on Friday that it will restart flight operations between Delhi and Tel Aviv on May 16. Due to tensions in the Middle East, the airline temporarily halted flights to and from Tel Aviv.
In a post on X, Air India said it will resume «services between Delhi and Tel Aviv with five weekly flights from 16 May, 2024'.
The airline announced on April 19 that Tel Aviv flights would continue to be suspended until April 30. The suspension was later extended until May 15.
After almost five months, the airline owned by the Tata group resumed flights to the city in Israel on March 3.
Tensions are still elevated in the Middle East because of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.
