Akasa Air to charge zero convenience fee to celebrate its one year anniversary

Akasa Air has announced discounts and app-exclusive offers on Wednesday to commemorate a year of its commercial operations. Travellers will get a discount of 15 per cent on flight tickets across 16 domestic destinations on the airline’s network, upon booking through Akasa Air’s app and website.

Anniversary offers are valid till August 7, 2023. The discounts that the airline will be offering are valid on saver and flexi fares, and customers can avail discounts using the codes 'AKASA1' on the website and 'APPLOVE' on the Akasa Air app.

Further, upon exclusively booking on the Akasa Air app, passengers will be able to avail zero convenience fee, allowing them to save up to Rs 350 additionally on each booking, said the airline in its press release. ‘This limited-time offer reflects the airline’s consistent commitment towards making air travel accessible and affordable for all,’ said the company on its one-year anniversary.
