Alappuzha Gymkhana release date: Nalsen’s sports comedy to hit theatres on April 10
Khalid Rahman’s upcoming Malayalam sports comedy Alappuzha Gymkhana has got a release date. The movie, which stars Naslen in the lead, will hit theatres worldwide on April 10. The makers made the announcement on April 2, at the launch of Alappuzha Gymkhana’s second song, Panchara Punch.
The movie will compete with Basil Joseph’s Maranamass and Mammootty’s Bazooka at the box office. Alappuzha Gymkhana will also face stiff competition from Mohanlal’s L2: Empuraan. The Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial has been going strong at the box office since its release last month.

The makers announced the release day of the film via Instagram as well. “Schoolboys. Boxing. A fight for glory! Witness the madness from April 10th in cinemas,” the post read.
The film stars Nalsen as the protagonist Jojo Johnson, alongside Lukman Avaran, Sandeep Pradeep, Anagha Ravi, Noila Francy, Nanda Nishanth, Baby Jean and Ganapathi. The movie is written by Khalid Rahman and Sreeni Saseendran while Ratheesh Ravi penned the dialogues. Jimshi Khalid handled the cinematography. The music was composed by Vishnu Vijay. Khalid Rahman, Sameer Karat, Jobin George and Subeesh Kannanchery have produced the sports comedy.
