As reported by RadioTimes, the new important character Rain, played by Cailee Spaeny, said that the film blends genuine terror with a lot of action, while Fede Alvarez, the director, called the movie a «love letter to all the other movies.» He explained that even if someone has never seen an Alien movie before, they will enjoy Alien: Romulus.
There's a ton of blood, screaming, and terrifying Facehuggers in the new trailer. Scenes of empty corridors and someone calling for assistance open the film. In addition, viewers get to see Raines, played by Cailee Spaeny, holding a pulse weapon, just like Sigourney Weaver's Ripley did in the original 1979 Alien movie.
