Sofia Serrano, from Medellín, Colombia, posted on X that she had ordered an air fryer from Amazon and was shocked to find a lizard inside the package. She wrote in Spanish, which translates to, «We ordered an air fryer through Amazon and it arrived with a companion. I don't know if it was Amazon's fault or the carrier's fault… good morning!».
In a follow-up post, Serrano blamed Amazon for the mishap, noting that the lizard was found in the bag containing the air fryer. She expressed concerns over health implications due to the presence of a foreign animal. In her words, «We already know that it was the responsibility of @amazon because the reptile was put in the bag where the air fryer was packaged. @amazon does not want to take responsibility and the situation is very serious since a foreign animal can generate health implications.»
