Annabel Sutherland on Saturday continued her good form with the bat, registering her second consecutive ODI century against New Zealand in Wellington.
Sutherland, who had scored a match-winning ton against India last week, pulled Australia out of trouble once again with an unbeaten 105 off 81 balls. Her effort carried the visitors to to 7-291 after they were put into bat in the second Rose Bowl ODI.
The 23-year-old was given a lifeline on 67 in the 48th over and capitalised, hitting 33 runs from the next 11 balls she faced to bring up a 78-ball century.
The batter entered the crease with Australia 3-107 in the 22nd over, and the tourists' position became even trickier two overs later when Beth Mooney fell for 14, leaving them 4-110.
