According to Express US, industry expert Dennis Spiegel from the International Theme Park Services confirmed that this ambitious project is eventually moving forward while advanced technology is making it a reality. The roller coaster will surpass the current record holder which is the Kingda Ka in New Jersey that stands at 456 feet.
The Megalodon will feature an innovative braking system designed to manage its high speeds and will likely require riders to wear safety goggles, asserted Express US. The structural engineering team has crafted the ride to endure significant vertical and lateral forces while ensuring safety during the exhilarating experience.
The roller coaster will occupy a vast area of land to accommodate its extensive track layout, noted Express US.
As huge excitement builds around this monumental achievement in amusement park rides, the industry anticipates that the Megalodon will redefine thrill seeking experiences. Meanwhile, at the same time, Six Flags plans to debut a 640 foot coaster in Saudi Arabia before the Megalodon takes center stage.
