Apple recently introduced its latest iPhone 16 series, which includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. With pre-orders starting on September 13 and sales officially kicking off on September 20, the new lineup has already generated buzz. Alongside the announcement of the iPhone 16 series, Apple has slashed the prices of some of its older models, including the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Plus, by Rs 10,000.
However, Apple has discontinued selling the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max on its official website, although these models are still available through third-party retailers and Apple-authorised sellers.

According to a report by TOI, Apple is also extending its «Price Protection Policy» to some customers. This policy allows customers who recently purchased the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 14, or iPhone 14 Plus to receive a refund or credit following the price drop. To be eligible, customers must have bought their device within 14 days of the price cut announcement.
Customers can request a refund or credit for the price difference by visiting an Apple Store or contacting Apple’s customer support at 000800 040 1966, provided they have the original receipt. The refund applies only to customers who purchased within the 14-day window and does not cover special sales events or limited-time price reductions.
