The left-arm pacer, who recently became the highest wicket-taker for India in the shortest format, played 18 matches and picked up 36 wickets in 2024. He bowled at an average of 13.50 and maintained an economy rate of 7.49 runs per over.
The 25-year-old has risen quickly after making his debut in 2022, picking up 97 wickets in 61 T20I matches with a career best figures of 4/9.
Other nominees for the award were Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza, Pakistan's Babar Azam and Australia's Travis Head. Singh was voted as the best amongst the nominated players by fans.
