Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday walked out of Tihar jail after 50 days. The Supreme Court granted him interim bail in the Delhi Excise Policy case till June 1 and said that the Aam Aadmi Party leader is not a threat to the society.
A huge crowd of supporters gathered outside Tihar jail to welcome the Chief Minister on his release.
After coming out of jail, the Delhi CM said, " I have a request, we have to save the country from dictatorship. I am fighting against it with all might."
«I had promised to come back soon, here I am,» he said while addressing party workers.
He is set to address a press conference at party headquarters at 1 pm tomorrow.

Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister and AAP leader Bhagwant Mann, party leaders Atishi, and Saurabh Bhardwaj and AAP general secretary Sandeep Pathak accompanied Kejriwal when he was released. The Chief Minister headed to his official residence after he was released from Tihar jail.
While granting interim relief to Kejriwal, the top court observed that serious accusations have been made against Arvind Kejriwal but he has not been convicted yet. «Arvind Kejriwal does not have any criminal antecedents and he is not a threat to society,» said SC in the bail order.

Kejriwal, as part
