Arachchige Samitha from Sri Lanka earned the silver medal with an impressive throw of 62.42 meters, while Pushpendra Singh secured the second position with a throw of 62.06 meters, also claiming a silver medal. India has made a significant presence at the fourth edition of the Asian Para Games, sending 303 athletes, consisting of 191 men and 112 women. This marks the largest contingent from India to participate in the continental event. In the 2018 Asian Para Games, India sent a total of 190 athletes and achieved remarkable success by securing 72 medals, including 15 gold medals.
