Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday chaired a District Commissioners' Conference in Guwahati.
Sarma took stock of the progresses of various ongoing and upcoming policies such as Amrit Brikkha Andolan, Khel Maharan, Assam Sanskritic Mahasangram, Orunodoi 2.0, National Food Security Act, paddy and mustard procurement from farmers, among others. On Amrit Brikkha Andolan, Sarma asked the concerned officials to ensure the mega-plantation drive witnesses mass participation of members of the general public.
Speaking on the upcoming Khel Maharan and Assam Sanskritic Mahasangram, Sarma exuded confidence these two schemes would provide a potent platform to the hidden talents of the State.
