The EV maker has announced a Rs 20,000 price cut on its 450S model which will now be available at a starting price of Rs 1.09 lakh in Bengaluru and Rs 97,500 in Delhi. Both prices are ex-showroom.
After announcing the new prices, Aether's 450s will remain in country's EV market as the sole competitor with the lowest starting point when compared to 2024 Bajaj Chetak Urbane priced at Rs 1.15 lakh, base TVS iQube priced at Rs 1.23 lakh, and Ola S1 Air which carries a sticker price of Rs 1.20 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
The price for the 450S with the ‘Pro Pack’ has been reduced by Rs 25,000.
Interested customers who are buying the pro pack receive several features such as ride assist, Ather battery protect, AtherStack updates, and Ather Connect (free for 3 years) for an additional Rs 10,000.

The company in December last year announced massive discounts for the month for its Ather 450S and 450X electric scooters up to Rs 24,000, under the offer.
Recently, the EV manufacturer launched its flagship electric scooter, the 450 Apex, with a starting price of Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The company had already started accepting bookings for the scooter last month, with a token amount of Rs 2,500. Deliveries of the electric scooter are set to begin in March 2024.
