Kang the Conqueror was originally expected to label the Sorcerer Supreme a threat to all reality due to his actions across the Multiverse.
But Marvel Studios revised its plans after the lukewarm reception of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and Jonathan Majors' dismissal following a dispute with his ex-girlfriend. The main antagonist of the Multiverse Saga will now be Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr.
In an interview with Variety, Benedict Cumberbatch inadvertently confirmed that he will not appear as Doctor Strange in Avengers: Doomsday.
