Natixis-backed corporate advisory firm Azure Capital has inducted a new name to its partnership ranks amid a round of promotions.
Olivia Boyne is Azure Capital’s first female partner in the firm’s history.
Olivia Boyne, who has been advising financial sponsors and industrials clients at the firm since 2015, is trading up from director to join Azure’s 11 other partners. She also happens to be Azure’s first female partner since its founding in 2004.
Perth-based Boyne is currently leading 7-Eleven’s sale with David Flynn, and advised Pacific Equity Partners, Canada’s OPTrust and Foresight (née Infrastructure Capital Group) on their take-private of remote power specialist Zenith Energy.
She has worked in mergers and acquisitions for 13 years, including previously at KPMG. As a partner, she would be among Azure’s leadership and hold equity, besides leading origination and execution on deals.
In tandem, Azure has promoted two dealmakers to director.
Kate Quigg, who joined the firm last year as an associate director, after working at Goldman Sachs, Rothschild and Snowy Hydro is a part of Azure’s infrastructure team led by managing partner Richie Baston and partners Harrison Moore and Phil Prenc.
She has advised renewables clients on M&A and financing, including BlackRock Real Assets on its acquisition of solarZero. She would continue to focus on power, utilities and infrastructure.
Lastly, Michael Campion is also stepping up to director after four years with Azure. He is a part of Azure’s industrial and sponsors industry group, and advised Thales on its proposed acquisition of Tesserent, Sime Darby on its acquisition of Onsite Rental Group, and ResApp’ on its acquisition from pharmaceutical giant Pfizer.
