‘Barbie’ Is A Trailblazer‘Barbie’ has also snatched away the film title with the highest domestic opening of 2023, from ‘The Super Mario Bros’. It also dethroned the movie for the largest-grossing day of 2023, with $70.8 million to ‘Mario’s $54.8 million. ‘Barbie’ is a comedy-drama that revolves around the iconic doll, who one day wakes up to discover she is suffering from an identity crisis. She goes on a self-discovery journey, accompanied by her besotted sidekick Ken to the “real world”, where she encounters a male-dominated society, vastly different from the pink-tinged matriarchy she hails from. The movie boasts of a spectacular cast comprising of Robbie, Gosling, Dua Lipa, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, Helen Mirren, John Cena, and Will Ferrell.
