The acquisitions are expected to be finalised in 1-2 years and will be funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt, the company said in a statement. The capacity of 5 GW will largely come from solar, wind, hybrid, hydro power and firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) sources, said the company.
The company is also planning to develop projects in renewable energy-rich states in India in the utility-scale and commercial and industrial segment.
