Shortly after, another person arrived with a car, and the two men began the ride. The situation quickly became uncomfortable when they asked him to pay Rs 200 for a toll. They also took an unusually quiet route, adding to his unease. The men tried to appear friendly by engaging in casual conversation, but their behaviour soon became concerning. They played loud music, shouted at other vehicles, and stopped for cigarettes and tea. At one point, they forced him to pay Rs 300 for fuel. Fearing for his safety, he complied.
As the journey continued, things escalated further. The men began smoking inside the car. The passenger felt increasingly unsafe as one of them started video-calling others and shouting loudly. Eventually, they stopped at a deserted location where another man was waiting. The driver claimed he could not continue and transferred the passenger to another cab. Before leaving, they demanded an additional Rs 3,000, claiming the initial amount was merely a booking fee. The situation became threatening as they grabbed his phone, deleted their contact details, and pressured him for payment.
