State Bank of India (SBI) has donated four electrical buggies to the state government-run Bengaluru Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) Trauma and Emergency Care Centre in Bengaluru. They are worth Rs 38.16 lakh, the SBI said in a statement.
Joohi Smita Sinha, Chief General Manager of SBI Bengaluru Circle handed over the Buggies to BMCRI's Trauma and Emergency Care Centre, in the Victoria hospital campus.
The hospital, in the middle of Bengaluru is spread over 86 acres. The buggies would help the hospital with the movement of patients, patient attendant’s and doctors to move within the campus, the statement added.
Dr Balaji S Pai, special officer at the trauma care centre and nodal officer Dr Asima Banu, who is also the principal at BMCRI, accepted the buggies on behalf of the Victoria Hospital and thanked the bank for its support.
