Bengaluru on Tuesday, brandishing empty colourful water pots and wearing Siddaramaiah-masks to protest the Congress regime's alleged inefficiency in the face of the water scarcity crisis in the city. “To keep its alliance partners in TN happy, Congress even took steps detrimental to the city, forgetting the interests of residents of Bengaluru…Both CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar did not even care to visit the affected areas and see how the situation was on the ground,” he said.
The leader met with the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) Chairman Ram Prasath Manohar after the protest to submit a memorandum regarding the water crisis. “The Congress government in Karnataka does not have any plan of action for resolving this. We've demanded that CM Siddaramaiah and deputy CM DK Shivakumar visit water-stressed areas, come up with a detailed action plan and address the situation on a war footing. We also offered our suggestions to the Chairman on tackling the water crisis in the city,” he posted on social media platform X.
