Best-performing Mid Cap Mutual Funds in 10 years (till July 25): Most of the Mid Cap Mutual Funds have delivered high annualised returns in 10 years. Data on the website of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) shows that direct plans of as many as 11 mid-cap funds have given over 21% annualised returns in 10 years. The regular plans of 10 mid-cap schemes have given over 19% annualised returns in 10 years. Most of the mid-cap funds have also beaten their respective benchmark indices.

A monthly SIP of Rs 5,000 in any of these funds could have grown to approx Rs 18 lakh (assuming 19% annualised returns) while a Rs 10,000 monthly SIP could have grown to approx Rs 36 lakh (assuming 19% return). That said, the following is the list of top-performing mid-cap funds that have given over 21% returns in 10 years under their respective direct plans, as per AMFI website data tracked till July 25.

Kotak Emerging Equity Fund

The direct plan of Kotak Emerging Equity Fund has given 24.08% annualised returns while its regular plan has given 22.58% returns in 10 years. The scheme tracks NIFTY Midcap 150 Total Return Index, which has given 21.02% annualised returns in 10 years.

Edelweiss Mid Cap Fund

The direct plan of Edelweiss Mid Cap Fund has given 23.17% annualised returns while its regular plan has given 21.67% returns in 10 years. The scheme tracks NIFTY Midcap 150 Total Return Index, which has given 21.02% annualised returns in 10 years.

SBI Magnum Midcap Fund

The direct plan of SBI Magnum Midcap Fund has given 22.49% annualised returns while its regular plan has given 21.34% returns in 10 years. The scheme tracks NIFTY
