Bihar woman cuts private parts of boyfriend after he refuses to marry her
The 26-year-old woman, who claims to be a medical practitioner and operates a nursing home under the Marhaura police station, had been in a relationship with the 30-year-old man for five years. The man, a ward councillor for Marhaura Nagar Panchayat, had assisted her in establishing the nursing home.
Authorities have arrested the woman. «A case has been filed under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) as of July 1,» stated Saran Superintendent of Police Kumar Ashish.
An official from the Marhaura police station, requesting anonymity, said, «The two were cohabiting, and the woman had been pressing for marriage, which the man had been evading. This ongoing conflict culminated in the incident on July 1. We have taken the accused into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.»
According to the woman, they had planned to register their marriage at a court in Chhapra, the district headquarters, on Monday. However, the man failed to appear, which incited her anger. She invited him to her nursing home, where she allegedly injected him with a sedative before mutilating him and flushing the severed part down the toilet, the police reported.
The woman claimed she was under severe stress as the man, despite his assurances, was not willing to marry her. She also accused him of sexually exploiting her under the pretext of marriage over the past two years.
