IndiGo flight from Chennai, carrying 172 passengers and crew, made an emergency landing in Mumbai on Saturday due to a bomb threat, as per a TOI report. «An unclaimed remote was found on board the aircraft,» the report said citing source.

Flight 6E-5314 landed safely in Mumbai at 8:45 am, sources told TOI. The flight had departed from Chennai at around 6:50 am and was en route to its destination when the bomb threat was received.
This marks the second bomb threat to an IndiGo flight in a week. The previous incident happened on May 28 on a flight from Delhi to Varanasi.

The pilots notified Mumbai air traffic control and requested an emergency landing. A full-scale emergency was declared, with fire trucks and ambulances on standby as the plane landed safely. The aircraft was then moved to an isolated bay for security checks related to the bomb threat. Passengers have disembarked, sources reported.
IndiGo is yet to comment on it.
Last week, an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Varanasi with 176 passengers received a bomb threat. Passengers were evacuated via emergency exits at the Delhi airport.
