Bondurant Investment Advisory, a fiduciary financial advisory firm in Illinois, has solidified a partnership to offer its clients an upgraded experience.
Under the newly unveiled partnership with GMO’s Nebo Wealth platform, BIA aims to more firmly embed the concept of mean reversion into its financial planning and portfolio management, enhancing its ability to provide comprehensive client service.
By incorporating mean reversion, which suggests that stock returns eventually revert to their historical averages, Bondurant Investment Advisory seeks to offer clients more accurate financial plans and improved investment outcomes.
The firm says that approach, unorthodox by industry standards, is intended to lead to reduced investment risks over the long term compared to traditional industry models.
“We know that money can be a tough topic,” Scott Bondurant, the fiduciary investment firm’s namesake founder, said in a statement. “That’s why we work with our clients to explore their life goals and figure out how we can build an investment framework to achieve those goals. Our clients can think of us as their outsourced personal Chief Investment Officer.”
A veteran of the industry, Bondurant previously had a leading role at UBS Global Asset Management, where had a major role in developing and growing a $2.5 billion equity long/short platform as its managing director and global head of long/short strategies.
The firm’s services cater to affluent families and individuals at various stages of their financial journeys, from young thirty-something investors with long-term horizons to those approaching or entering retirement.
